Great Leaders Lead Themselves Well
When we focus on our strengths and our blindspots and hone our key human skills (communication, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, negotiation, etc.), we become more impactful.

The Future is Human
Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to participate in a great workplace summit, primarily targeted at CHROs, focusing on the new leadership playbook required for success today and in the future. But I Want the Model Home Look on Day One
We made the decision several months ago to have a house built in a relatively new neighborhood versus buying something that we might want or need to refresh and renovate. We’re now just two weeks out from our closing which is super exciting and also a bit daunting because we need to pack up all of the things we’ve been living with over the past two months and start making decisions about what to do first with the house.
Recipe Disaster?
My husband and I were in Belgium last weekend, and one of our activities was a Beer and Waffles workshop because those are two Belgian classics all in one activity. Noticing Changes
Change often happens slowly, so we don’t notice that we have made progress. If we think about our kids, we may not realize how much they've grown until we're away for a week, or we look back at pictures from six months ago and recognize that they have changed. Or we think about the time we're putting in at the gym, and suddenly, we notice that we have more arm definition when we decide to wear a sleeveless top.
