Are you trusting your gut?
How do you make your best decisions? Is it through analysis? Is it by playing out all of the scenarios? Is it by trusting your gut? All of those ways of making decisions are important, but trusting what your gut is telling you often is the best final step.
Have you ever made a decision and then realized it was the wrong one, and you realized you didn't listen to your gut? I know I have.
What made you not trust that feeling? Is it because feeling seems less trustworthy than rational thinking? We often decide not to listen to our gut when we feel like others may not like the decision or that we feel we "should" do something.
I think it's important to allow your gut, your intuition, play a key role in your decision-making process.

In our busy lives and with the immense amount of information being thrown at us on a day-to-day basis, we may not pause to assess what our gut is telling us we should do. However, there is value in listening to what we're sensing and feeling as we make a final recommendation. So often, we have to choose the best of several good choices or the least bad choice. Once we've done the due diligence on the options, we need to listen to what our body is telling us is the best answer today.
When you make a decision, and you have a sinking feeling, trust that message and reconsider your decision.
